Email or Electronic Mail is a facility that allows us to send letters/mail to friends via the internet. Currently, there are many free email providers, such as Yahoo, Gmail or Hotmail. And email is increasingly important in daily use for social or business purposes. So we need a email client software that can manage our email and letter contacts without having to always be online on the internet.
Software that can help us to do this work is Mozilla Thunderbird. I think this is one of the best email client software provided by Mozilla to help us to organize email. It’s easy to use and also equipped with Address Book & Contacts features, making easier for us to keep a list of important addresses for the purposes of sending mail to your contact. Thunderbird is relatively more secure against virus threat. In addition, it works on multi operating systems like Windows, Linux and Macintosh.
Firstly you must have an email account to sync with Thunderbird. If you don’t have yet then you must make it one first. Once your email account is registered we will configure/sync your email with Thunderbird.
Account settings are now much easier. Several new features will also simplify your daily activities. In the past to setting your account you must know IMAP, SMTP, SSL / TLS of your email account. Now by new features, you simply enter your name, email address, and password, then the new account setup wizard will do the rest to find a suitable arrangement for you email. Step by step to synchronize you email account with Thunderbird:
Click File >> New >> Mail Account
Insert full name, email address and email password, then click Continue.
You will be given detailed information about your email account. Click Create Account
Main window will display your email account as shown in the picture.
You can also add another email accounts in the same way as above. Now you can read and manage your email easily. To learn more and download Thunderbird you can visit their official site http://www.mozillamessaging.com/thunderbird/
